During rush hour, traffic can be busy on the road outside.  After about 7.30pm and through the night the traffic is much quieter.  Our double glazing throughout the house is modern and very effective.  We provide disposable ear plugs, should you need them.

Can I park my car at Stop By In Worthing

Absolutely.  We have a large and free car parking space for you, on our driveway.

What are the bathroom arrangements

The bathroom with shower is just across the landing from your room and it is shared only with your hosts.

Are you near a railway station

West Worthing Station is less than 15 minutes walk, or a 3 minute drive.  From West Worthing you can catch direct trains to Worthing, East Worthing, Hove, Brighton (a 30 minute journey), London, Chichester, Littlehampton and to many other stations.

Are there bus stops near by

Route 10 (five minute walk) Approximate journey to Worthing Town Centre and the beach is 20 minutes
Service available Monday to Saturday except public holidays
Route 16 (five minute walk) Approximate journey to Worthing Town Centre and the beach is 15 minutes

How long will it take to walk to Worthing Town Centre and to the seaside

Worthing Town Centre (South Street shopping area and the Guildbourne Shopping Centre) is 1.7 miles away and it will take you approximately 37 minutes to walk.  Worthing beach and pier are a further 2 minutes walk.

The southern end of Heene Road which is at the seafront and is the shortest route to the sea, is 1.5 miles away and it will take you approximately 30 minutes to walk.

Is it easy to park in Worthing Town Centre and at the beach

Yes, as long as you use one of several car parks in the town centre.  We always use the High Street Multi-story car park, High Street,  Worthing BN11 1NY.  It’s right where we want to be, adjacent to the Guildbourne Shopping Centre, and just 3 minutes walk from the seaside.  You can even check live parking availability for the High Street Multi-storey and for all car parks in Worthing.
